The new access prime time series “Hotel Mondial” is a workplace ensemble series of the true kind – and one of very special charm. There is hardly any other place where the the contradiction between the omnipresent service mentality and individual temperaments, needs, and pitfalls sparks more brightly than in the ritualistically charged world of a top hotel: a world of faux pas, unwritten laws, enormous modernization, and cost pressures, and at the same time, inevitably identity-forming tradition.
