Until the beginning of December 2022, filming was underway in Hamburg and Istria for the two-parter “Herzstolpern” (also known as “Love Knows No Difference), which will be shown on ZDF’s Heart Cinema in 2023.

Alex Haferkamp (Sebastian Ströbel) is the father of Felix (Benjamin Raue), a young man with Down syndrome, who leaves for the Mediterranean with his girlfriend Emma (Juliane Siebecke). The two met in Elisa’s (Anna Maria Sturm) theater workshop. The exciting search for the runaways – Felix is in urgent need of heart medication – also marks the beginning of a completely new life for the particularly caring father. In the process, he also meets Emma’s mother Lucia (Clelia Sarto) and her wife Eva (Janina Elkin)… and Lucia’s father Roberto (Sandro di Stefano), who has had no contact with his family in Germany for years.
