Unterföhring, June 28, 2022 – With the strong production power and experience for long-lasting TV brands and ratings success in their backs, Charlotte Groth and Maximilian Greil as managing directors and producers will give young creatives a home and develop fictional content with a focus on TV & streaming from a new perspective.

In doing so, LAX Entertainment builds on a young network of writers and directors. A home for talents, creatives and trend-setting formats from Germany for a market that is rapidly changing.

Charlotte Groth and Maximilian Greil met during their studies at the Film Academy Ludwigsburg. Charlotte Groth joined ndF as an associate producer after graduating in 2016. Most recently, she was responsible for the alpine thriller “Einsatz in den Alpen” for RTL as a associate producer and expanded her experience on the major ZDF event series “Der Schwarm” based on Frank Schätzing’s bestselling novel on the for ndF International Production.

Maximilian Greil graduated from Ludwigsburg in 2020 with a focus on content development. After a stopover in the advertising industry, he found his way to ndF in 2021. Since then, he has been working as a producer for the highly successful TV series “Der Bergdoktor” (“Mountain Medic”).

Groth and Greil complement each other perfectly and want to use LAX Entertainment to “tell a mixture of “up’n’coming” and socially relevant topics in modern stories that will inspire a broad audience,” according to the two managing directors. This also applies to classic subjects that, coming from ndF, are the company’s DNA: crime, drama & family – fresh thinking.

The first scripts in development cover a trending topic yet to be shown in a TV series, a politically explosive subject from German perspective and a dramedy about a very special “girl boss”. More on that soon.
