After a failed Interpol operation, Tom Fährmann (Hans Sigl), a human rights activist in hiding and experienced escape agent, is tasked with finding Sofia Moreno (Hana Sophia Lopes), an informant who has disappeared in Lisbon, and bringing her to a safe house on the Portuguese coast. But when Fährmann realises that Sofia’s eight-year-old son Noa (Santiago André) is in the hands of a hacker organisation that the programmer wanted to fight with her filter programme against fake news, his mission turns into a rescue mission in which Fährmann can no longer trust anyone.
It is produced by Fiction Magnet GmbH in co-operation with ndF: Berlin GmbH on behalf of ZDF and ServusTV. Silvia Lambri is the ZDF editor in charge.
