Investigator Huldar (Kolbeinn Arnbjörnsson/‘Black Sands’, ‘Stella Blómkvist’) and child psychologist Freyja (Vivian Ólafsdóttir/‘Trapped’, ‘Cop Secret’) form a mismatched duo on the hunt for a serial killer. The first brutal murder of a young woman shatters the idyllic peace of the Icelandic capital and leads the investigators, including Detective Huldar, to further gruesome murders that all seem to be connected. While the team works under enormous pressure, psychologist Freyja looks after 7-year-old Margrét (Valdís Brynja Finnsdóttir), who not only witnessed the brutal murder of her mother, but also seems to be the only one who could have seen the killer.
