Even in the third season, Viktoria (Lena Dörrie) and Feli Lorentzen (Caroline Hanke), along with their investigation partners Sami Farhadi (Tamer Trasoglu) and Dusi Kowalski (Claudiu Mark Draghici), skillfully solve their cases – ranging from major family dramas to a spectacular child abduction. However, the order at the Flensburg police station is disrupted this time by the arrival of the formidable Dr. Astrid Brockhaus (Veronica Ferres). The operative case analyst (OFA) from Hamburg is brought in by the station chief Owe (Mathias Harrebye-Brandt) for the first case, as a bomb has exploded right in the middle of Flensburg. As the investigation progresses, it becomes clear to everyone that Dr. Brockhaus doesn’t waste time on unnecessary diplomacy. Although she would never admit it, Viktoria increasingly comes to appreciate the OFA’s vast experience. Dr. Brockhaus doesn’t seem eager to return to Hamburg, and thus continues to enrich the team with her analytical insights into victims and perpetrators in subsequent cases.
